What you will do

Are you looking for a part-time job for a number of hours per week with a leading employer? Then the Municipality of Rotterdam is looking for you as a Public Information Officer. Salary of €16,44 gross per hour.

As a Public Information Officer at Stadsbeheer, you are the face of the city. You will speak directly with residents, entrepreneurs and visitors to inform them about cleaning, maintenance and safety. You do this in an accessible and proactive manner, such as through street conversations, handing out flyers or staffing an information stand.

Your tasks

• Informing and advising various target groups in Rotterdam
• Acting as a point of contact for questions and concerns from residents and entrepreneurs
• Explaining urban maintenance and safety measures
• Using communication tools such as flyers and information stands
• Raising awareness and contributing to a cleaner, safer city
• Always adopting a welcoming and friendly attitude

• You are enrolled in at least a higher professional education (HBO) programme.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written.
• You have strong communication skills and a welcoming attitude.

• You work independently and take the initiative to approach the public.
• You can communicate information clearly and make complex subjects understandable.
